Melissa Phelan is a National Account Manager and Recruiter for Healthcare Scouts Lab/Bio Tech Division. Originally from San Francisco, Melissa has her pre-Med degree from the University of Central Florida. "I enjoy being able to meet the needs of both clients and candidates while applying the concepts and technical knowledge that I learned in many of my lab courses. I have always had a passion and ongoing interest in the healthcare industry, especially in the field of medical research and biotechnology."

Melissa is an accomplished gymnast and cheerleader, and was member of the 2003 NCAA National Champion Cheerleading squad. In her spare time Melissa enjoys playing blackjack, Texas hold'em, watching college football, working out, and all kinds of water sports.
